In 2009 Hatzalah of Baltimore responded to over 950 calls with more than 400 patients transported to local hospitals via a City or County ambulance.

This represents a 38% increase over the 2008 call volume (688 calls).

Priority of calls
1 = Critically ill or injured patient requiring immediate attention;unstable  patients with life threatening injury or illness
2 = Less serious condition, yet potentially life threatening illness or injury
3 = Requires medical attention but not on an emergency basis
4 = No further medical attention necessary
